For many years we at Sunburst Bottle have done our part in being ecologically friendly. The company has received recognition from the State of California, Integrated Waste Management Board "for improving the environment by reducing waste."

We use recycled boxes whenever possible. Over-runs or misprinted boxes are commonly used in our shipping process. These boxes are kept out of the garbage and land-fills.

There is also a cost saving associated with box recycling. This saving is passed along to our customers by keeping our shipping costs down.

Q. What is your minimum order amount?
A. There is no minimum order at Sunburst Bottle. We are here to help you grow your business and you can count on us to get you whatever you need in whatever quantity you require. We also do not charge a handling penalty for small orders.

Q. How many ML are there in 1 oz?
A. As a ball park number you can use 30 ML equal 1 oz, and 30 ML is equal to 30 CC. Please see our Conversion chart for a chart showing more.

Q. What forms of payment do you accept?
A. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. We ask that you provide payment at the time of purchase.

Q. Is it safe to use my credit card on your website?
A. Yes. Our website is tested daily for security threats and we are 100% PCI compliant. All transactions are also encrypted using 128bit SSL encryption.

Q. Can I apply for a line of credit - Payment Terms?
A.We have credit lines available for customers who qualify. For instance, D&B rated firms purchasing over $5,000 in any given year may apply for terms by supplying 3 references, your bank information and your SunburstBottle.com user name. Your business name and business name or your SunburstBottle.com account must match.

Your credit application must include fax numbers for all your references. Failure to do so may result in a delay. The process takes about 2 to 3 weeks depending on how quickly your references respond. A request doesn't guarantee approval. Upon approval we will activate your account for net 30. Once activated will you be able to purchase via "net 30" through our web site.

Q. I'm a large user, can I get additional discount's? 
A. Discounts are available on large volumes. Please email or call us at 916-929-4500 with your request including the item number and quantity required, and we would be happy to customize a quote for you.

Q. I am a business located in California. How do I purchase bottles from you (which I will then fill up and resale) and not be charged state tax?
A. In order for us to sell or ship to California addresses and NOT COLLECT STATE TAX we must have a valid California Resale Certificate from you on file. Orders shipped to other states are automatically not charged state tax.

Here is what you must do to order online and not be charged California State Tax.

  1. Create an online Sunburstbottle.com account (if you don't already have one.) Use this link to create a new account.
  2. Download, print and fill in Apendix A of this California Resale Certificate. Be sure the name on the certificate and the name in your SunburstBottle.com account match.
  3. Fax it to us at 916. 929. 3604. You may also mail the certificate to us.
  4. We will review your certificate, enter your Resale Number into our system and update your account to tax exempt.
  5. The next time you order from us you will not be charged Califnornia state tax and your resale number will be shown on the checkout page.

Q. How will my order be shipped?
A. All orders are FOB our warehouse in Sacramento, CA and are shipped via UPS or US Mail. Orders usually ship within 2 business days and should be received within 2-6 days once shipped, depending on your location and the type of delivery. The time in transit chart below will help you determine exactly how long it will take to get your product based on where your located in the United States.

For international customers (outside USA) shipping times will be based on the method of shipping, either USPS Priority Mail International or USPS First Class Mail International depending on the weight of your package. Orders are usually shipped via US Mail and have an handling fee of $10 in addition to the actual shipping costs. Please mention in "Shipping instructions," found on the checkout page, if you have a preferred shipping method.

Q. How can I track my package?
A. If your order is shipped via UPS you can track your order right from our web site with your UPS tracking number. This is provided to you by our "Order Shipped" email. You will also receive an email from UPS. All customers who provide their emails will get shipment confirmations with a tracking number for all UPS and USPS shipments when your order is fulfilled. If your order is shipped via freight (truck) you can contact one of our service representatives to obtain the tracking number or to have your shipment tracked.

Q. Can I pick up my order in person?
A. Yes. Please call us in advance at 916 929-4500 to arrange for pick up of your order. Or you map place your order online, choose "Pickup" and indicate the day and time you would like to pickup your order in the "Shipping Instructions" field. We ask that you call and confirm if you would like to pick it up on the same day. Our will call hours are from 8:30 to 4:00 M-F. Map and driving directions are provided with a photo of our warehouse so you can easily find us.

Q. What are your business hours?
A. Online ordering is available 24 hours a day. Our office hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Pacific Standard Time. Our will call hours are Monday-Friday 8:30 AM to 4:00PM Pacific Standard Time.

Q. How can I talk to a live person?
A. Please call 916-929-4500 or toll free 877 925-4500 Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Pacific Standard Time.

Q. What is your fax number?
A. Our 24 hour fax number is: 916-929-3604. Please use our Fax Order Form when sending in an order via fax.

Q. Do you have a printed catalog?
A. We discontinued our printed catalog and replaced it with this web site. All products that are currently in stock are shown.

Q. How do you handle damages?
A. Please be cautious and check your order when you receive it. All UPS shipments are insured by UPS so please inspect your shipment upon delivery and report any damage to your UPS driver. If your package was shipped via USPS or if you didn’t notice damage until after the package was delivered, please notify one of our customer service representatives right away, Damaged products will be replaced or refunded. Save all of the packaging and the paperwork until the adjuster has been contacted. We have very few damages considering the quantities that we ship.

Q. What is your return policy?
A. Concerning returns, please consult with us about our packaging and your product if you have any questions. We work very hard to make sure that all orders have the containers you ordered in the quantity that you want and with the caps that match. If you do have a problem make sure you let us know right away or within 30 days of your receipt.

All other returns must meet the following criteria:

  1. Return must be within 30 days of your receipt.
  2. Items must be in original, unused condition.
  3. Returns are subject to inspection upon return. Used or damaged items will not be refunded and will be discarded.

In addition, there is a 10% restocking fee if you change your mind and return your order. If we pack and/or ship your order and for some reason you refuse it, handling and shipping charges will still apply.. Please order carefully.

Q. Are my bottles sterile when I get them?
A. All products should be cleaned and sterilized prior to use. Since we don’t require minimums some items are pulled from open cases on our warehouse floor.

Q. What if an item I ordered is out of stock?
A. Sunburst Bottle is working hard to keep inventory in stock, and minimize the number of stock outages we have. In the event that you ordered an item that is out of stock, we will attempt to contact you via email or telephone to discuss possible substitutions or to make arrangements for the out of stock item. Sunburst Bottle no longer back orders any item.

Q. I don’t see the item I ordered previously on your website. Is it discontinued?
A. Items that are currently out of stock may be removed from the website. If you do not see an item you have previously ordered, please contact one of our customer service representatives at 916-929-4500.

Q. Can I get free samples?
A. Because Sunburst Bottle does not have a minimum purchase requirement; we do not offer free samples. You may place a sample order online, or by phone. We will waive our handling fee on sample orders as long as the order is noted as a sample order. You may get samples of items sold in case quantities by contacting our customer service team at 916-929-4500

Q. Why are my pump/sprayer tubes longer than my bottles?
A. We stock a large quantity of bottles that vary in height but have similar neck finishes that can fit the same pump or sprayer. Dip tubes can be cut upon receipt. Make sure to cut at a 45 degree angle.
